A Mouse Story- Chap. 3

It smelled all too familiar. It brought back memories, too. I was ambushed with the sensation of my brothers' and sisters' fur next to me, creating warmth between us. It was wonderful. Too wonderful to pass up. I went foward, I had to find out what it was. As soon as my eyes adjusted, I saw it. Berries, nuts, seeda, fruit, all in one pile. It was even nestled on a big, black plate for us. I wanted it all for myself, since i havent eaten, due to my poor scavenging. But i knew that wasnt an option. I wanted to share not only the food, but the memories that came with it. So i called Ma and Pa to see what i found. They've never been in a corner either, so they were nervous as well. But i told them that it wouln't hurt. Then they came further.
