The Winged Ones chap. 9I was kind of dissapointed, i only asked him three questions in the time that i was there. I'll have to be quicker next time. But i cant think about that now, i have to get ready for school. I wasnt quite sure how it would be now that i beat up basically the whole popular group. How would people react?
"bye mom. ill catch the bus."
she smiled at me and i went out the front door. I usually just walk to school, and im aways early. Waiting for the bus made me feel like i was missing the whole morning. It finally came, and i didnt know where to sit, so i just looked around, for any familiar faces.
Everyone looked up at me and started cheering. Not knowing what that was about, i kept looking. i found Emma and she directed me to sit with her.
"Whats everyone cheering about, was a celebrity behind me?"
"No silly! They were cheering for you! You basically single-handedly beat the whole popular group. They werent friends with everyone."

The Winged Ones chap. 8The rest of the day we talked about our wings and what its like flying. She had basically the same ideas, and opinions as me. Then i went home in time for dinner.
"Hey mom? Where are you?"
"over here." i heard from behind. she had her arms folded with a dissapointed look on her face.
"What. You beat up a girl, and possibly ruined a boys chances of having children! Thats what!"
"NO, mom, you dont understand, they started it!"
"I dont care who started what! you do NOT beat up anyone. do you understand me?"
"Mom. Please let me explain this. i had really good reason"
"OH, you better.
"we were at Star's Ice Cream for lunch, and the populars showed up. Kristi. She got all up in Emma's face and i told her to lay off. then one thing led to another, and we started fighting. but i only fought her to save Emma. Im telling the truth."
"i know what happened. Ava told me. That was a very loyal thing to do for your friend."
i shook my head and looked at her like she was a mad woman.
